授業としての具体的到達目標 ／Concrete arrival target as the class	○話の主題や大意を理解するために，多様な聞き方ができるようになること。 ○英語発音の基礎を学び，身近な出来事や意見や考えなどについての短い説明や会話を聞いて理解できるようになること。
授業の概要 ／Summary of the class	○中核となるリスニングを他の3技能（リーディング，スピーキング，ライティング）と組み合わせながら学び，総合的な英語力の基礎を身につける。 ○様々な文化的背景を持つ人々と平明な英語で伝え合うという，国際共通語としての英語を意識して使えるようになる。

成績評価方法及び採点基準 ／A scholastic evaluation method and marking standard	1. 外部試験の結果：20% 2. Participation（Class activities）：　20% 3. Examination/Presentation/Paper/Project：　40% 4. Assignments/Self-study：　20% 上記を合算して，最終的な成績評価を行います。 ※旧カリキュラムの読み替えとして履修している学生については，外部試験の結果を除いた評価方法（期末試験等）により100 点満点で評価します。
予習及び復習等の内容 ／Contents such as preparations for lessons and the review	予習・復習内容は毎週授業の前に教科書のレッスンの語彙とアウディオ・ビデオを復習すること。(週４時間程度）
