授業としての具体的到達目標 ／Concrete arrival target as the class	○話の主題や大意を理解するために，多様な聞き方ができるようになること ○英語発音の基礎を学び，身近な出来事や意見，考えなどについての比較的長い説明や会話を聞いて理解できるようになること
授業の概要 ／Summary of the class	○中核となるリスニングを他の3技能（リーディング，スピーキング，ライティング）と組み合わせながら学び，総合的な英語力の基礎を身につける。 ○様々な文化的背景を持つ人々と平明な英語で伝え合うという，国際共通語としての英語を意識して使えるようになる。

成績評価方法及び採点基準 ／A scholastic evaluation method and marking standard	1. 外部試験の結果：20% 2. Participation（Class activities）：　30% 3. Examination/Presentation/Paper/Project：　30% 4. Assignments/Self-study：　20% 上記を合算して，最終的な成績評価を行います。 ※旧カリキュラムの読み替えとして履修している学生については，外部試験の結果を除いた評価方法（期末試験等）により100 点満点で評価します。
予習及び復習等の内容 ／Contents such as preparations for lessons and the review	Preparation for class by pre-reading the textbook and review of class activities through the use of textbook activities will be expected. Each week students will be required to  participate in the discussion. You will also be required to complete a final task and presentation.

授業形態・授業方法 ／Class form, class method	Classes will be a combination of lectures and group activities and Cambridge Publishing LMS system.  Regular and active participation is mandatory. Students will also have to complete quizzes online using TEAMS. In addition, we will focus on connecting the materials in the textbook to the local world around us through activities and a final task.
