/Concrete arrival target as the class
The objective of this course is to ensure that students have a fundamental understanding of English Grammar (見通す力)and develop approaches to help learners also gain such understanding. (CP・DP 3 学び続ける力)
授業の概要
/Summary of the class
The follows the syllabus of the textbook (Focus on Grammar Level 4) and outlines the grammar. This is followed by practice activities that are valuable both for students learning as well as developing teacher consciousness.

To cover the material of the textbook in an effective manner such that students have mastered the content.
Class 1: Negative Questions and Tag Questions
Class 2: That Clauses
Class 3: Noun Clauses with Wh-Words and If/Whether
Class 4: Direct Speech and Indirect Speech
Class 5: Indirect Questions: Indirect Imperative, Requests and Advice
Class 6: Present and Future Unreal Conditionals
Class 7: The Passive (1)
Class 8: The Passive (2)
Class 9: Subject Relative Clauses
Class 10: Object Relative Clauses
Class 11: Relative Clauses with Where and When
Class 12: Real Conditionals
Class 13: Unreal Conditionals
Class 14: Conjunctions
Class 15: Adverb Clauses and Phrases

成績評価方法及び採点基準
/A scholastic evaluation method and marking standard
Grades will be based on attendance together with in-class pair and group work based on the content of the textbook.
Students will be asked to prepare for and review each class by completing the textbook exercises on an ongoing basis.
Attendance and Participation: 30%
Class Preparation and Review (weekly): 30%
Tests and Quizzes: 40%
