授業の概要／Summary of the class	〇　リスニング・スピーキングを中心に、リーディング・ライティング中心の授業「English Communication C」の学習内容と関連づけながら、総合的な英語力の基礎を身につける。〇　様々な文化的背景を持つ人々とコミュニケーションをとるために、国際共通語としての英語を意識して使えるようになる。〇　授業で学習したことを踏まえ、生涯にわたって主体的に学習し続ける習慣を身につける。

成績評価方法及び採点基準／A scholastic evaluation method and marking standard	1. 外部試験の結果：20%　7月30日（土） 2. Participation（Class activities）：　30% 3. Examination/Presentation/Paper/Project：　30% 4. Assignments/Self-study：　20% 上記を合算して，最終的な成績評価を行います。
予習及び復習等の内容／Contents such as preparations for lessons and the review	Preparation for class by pre-reading the textbook and review of class activities through the use of textbook and other activities will be expected. Each week students will be required to participate in the discussion. You will also be required to complete a final task and presentation.

留意点・予備知識／Point to keep in mind, back ground	Attendance, active participation, and self-study outside classroom are very important for language learning. Therefore, keep the following in mind: 1. Students are expected to attend every class. Students must attend 2/3 of all classes in order to pass. 2. Students should not be late to class. 3. Self-study time outside of class is expected to be twice the time spend in the classroom: 180 minutes of self-study for 90 minutes of class. Study systematically.

授業形態・授業方法／Class form, class method	Classes will be a combination of lectures and group activities and Cambridge Publishing LMS system. Regular and active participation is mandatory. Students will also have to complete quizzes online using TEAMS. In addition, we will focus on connecting the materials in the textbook to the local world around us through activities and a final task.
