授業としての具体的到達目標 /Concrete arrival target as the class |
①Deepen student's understanding about the Japanese culture, history, and traditional culture, etc. especially which left in Aomori-ken Tsugaru area. ②By studying the history and culture of the region, students can objectively see the characteristics of your own culture compared to the culture of other countries. ③By working with classmates who have different cultures, you can acquire the ability of cross-cultural communication to understand the other person regardless of country, language, and culture, and become aware of social problems around you, and will be able to propose solutions with flexible ideas. |
授業の概要 /Summary of the class |
Learn about the knowledge of general Japanese culture, and those traditional culture, crafts, etc. in the Tsugaru region of Aomori prefecture, where Hirosaki University is located. Japanese culture experts, general companies involved in traditional crafts, people involved in the transmission of traditional culture, etc. will be invited to the class as guest speakers to give lectures. After attending these lectures, we will be divided into groups, decide themes on issues related to Japanese culture or regional Japan, and conduct research and discussions through group work. As a summary of learning about Japanese culture that remains in the Tsugaru region, we will create a PR video to disseminate the history and culture of the Tsugaru region to the world. Students themselves go to traditional craft workshops or sightseeing spots to experience the shooting of this video(We plan to do field trips by bus in or out of class hours as needed.). Through activities outside the university, such as interviewing local staff, Japanese students and international students collaborate on the project work to "promote the Tsugaru region to the world". Finally, It will be an opportunity to rediscover the basic knowledge of Japanese culture and the rich cultural resources of the region, and to think about ways to contribute to regional revitalization from the university and disseminate it to the world. |

This class is an "international co-education" class that both international students and Japanese students learn together. The language used is Japanese, but consideration will be given to translations in English and explanations in easy Japanese so that students with insufficient Japanese proficiency can participate. The final PR video will be created in multiple languages, so students who take this class will be asked to communicate with multinational members to carry out this project in group work. For this reason, please not only use Japanese or English, but also use easy Japanese, gestures or Chinese characters to actively communicate with each other. The equipment required for video recording can be rented from the D-IEC in Hirodai, but consultation is required as the number is limited. You can use your smartphone etc. If possible, it would be nice if you had knowledge of video editing, but even if you don't have it, let's study and acquire it in cooperation with the members. |
