成績評価方法及び採点基準 ／A scholastic evaluation method and marking standard	1. Participation (HULEC CUP)：30% 2. Writing activities：10%/each = 50% 3. Final paper (300 – 400 words essay)：20% 上記を合算して，最終的な成績評価を行います。
予習及び復習等の内容 ／Contents such as preparations for lessons and the review	1. HULEC CUP: トピックに関して、クラスメイトや留学生と英語でやり取りができるように準備をすること。 2. Writing Activities: 授業中は、個々の英検レベル（英検準2級・2級・準1級レベル）に応じて、制限時間内にあるトピックに関して英語でエッセイを書く練習をし、その後、学生同士と教員によるレビューを行う。そのレビューに基づいて、書き直しをし、次週提出すること。 3. Final paper: HULEC CUP 4に関して、その内容や感想を英語のエッセイ（300 – 400 words）にまとめること。

留意点・予備知識 ／Point to keep in mind, back ground	Attendance, active participation, and self-study outside classroom are very important for language learning. Therefore, keep the following in mind: 1. Students are expected to attend every class. Students must attend 2/3 of all classes in order to pass. 2. Students should not be late to class. 3. Self-study time outside of class is expected to be twice the time spend in the classroom: 180 minutes of self-study for 90 minutes of class. Study systematically.
