授業の概要
/Summary of the class
In the living body, cells receive changes in the environment, show various responses through signal transduction, and maintain homeostasis. In this lecture, we will explain the structure and function of extracellular matrix components, which are the microenvironment of cells, and the interaction between cells and extracellular matrix components, focusing on intracellular and extracellular matrix transmission. Furthermore, the regulation of the cell cycle and the induction mechanism of cell death (apoptosis) will be explained, and the relationship between the disruption of these mechanisms and carcinogenesis and biological defense will be explained.
Students explain the part of the textbook (more than 10 pages per frame) to students and teachers using PowerPoint.

Mainly, students will study the following chapters:
Chapter 15 "Cell Signaling" and
Chapter 19 "Cell junctions and the extracellular matrix",
Chapter 20 "Cancer"

等について上述した演習形式で学習する。
