The course follows the syllabus of the textbook (Focus on Grammar 4) and outlines the grammar. This is followed by practice activities that are valuable both for students learning as well as developing teacher consciousness. |

To cover the material of the textbook in an effective manner such that students have mastered the content. Class 1:Simple Present and Present Progressive Class 2: Simple Past and Past Progressive Class 3: Simple Past, Present Perfect and Present Perfect Progressive Class 4: Future and Future Progressive Class 5: Future Time Clauses Class 6: Social Modals Class 7: Modals of Probability Class 8: Nouns and Modifying Nouns Class 9: Articles and Quantifiers Class 10: Pronouns Class 11: Gerunds Class 12: Infinitives Class 13: Learning Activities Class 14: Student Language Activation Class 15: Textbook Review and Final Activities |
成績評価方法及び採点基準 /A scholastic evaluation method and marking standard |
Grades will be based on attendance together with in-class pair and group work based on the content of the textbook. Students will be asked to prepare for and review each class by completing the textbook exercises on an ongoing basis. Attendance and Participation: 30% Class Preparation and Review (weekly): 30% Tests and Quizzes: 40% |
