授業の概要／Summary of the class	Students in this class will practice the skills necessary to produce a short academic paper and presentation. Students will learn (1) academic reading and writing skills and (2) presentation skills; (3) write and review a short academic paper; and, finally, (4) create and deliver a professional presentation with visual aids. Each class meeting will involve textbook assignments, group work, and lectures by the teacher.

Students are required to take notes during class, and should review the various skills from class lectures at home.
