Before Class: Familiarize yourself with the contents of the next class based on the schedule above. After Class: Complete all assigned tasks, including in the CambridgeOne digital workbook to reinforce the unit lessons. Watch the pre-recorded lecture and follow instructions for next class. Self-study: Use the resources of the English Lounge (seminars, foreign-student conversation partners, English DVDs) and Library Academic Commons (English DVDs) to practice listening/speaking skills. Consult with English Lounge teachers for additional advice on classwork and English study. |

Attendance, active participation, and self-study outside classroom are very important for language learning. Therefore, keep the following in mind: 1. Students are expected to attend every class. Students must attend 2/3 of all classes in order to pass. 2. Students should not be late to class. 3. Self-study time outside of class is expected to be twice the time spend in the classroom: 180 minutes of self-study for 90 minutes of class. Study systematically. |
