授業の概要／Summary of the class	〇　リスニング・スピーキングを中心に、「English Communication A」「English Communication C・D」の学習内容と関連づけながら、総合的な英語力の基礎を身につける。〇　様々な文化的背景を持つ人々とコミュニケーションをとるために、国際共通語としての英語を意識して使えるようになる。〇　授業で学習したことを踏まえ、生涯にわたって主体的に学習し続ける習慣を身につける。

成績評価方法及び採点基準／A scholastic evaluation method and marking standard	1. 外部試験の結果：20%　2月1日（土） 2. Participation（Quiz, Homework, etc.）：20% 3. Midterm (Panel Discussion) 20%+ Final (Group Presentation) 20%=40% 4. Self-study：20% 上記を合算して，最終的な成績評価を行います。
予習及び復習等の内容／Contents such as preparations for lessons and the review	予習:　上記スケジュールを参照し、次回授業の内容をあらかじめ読み、聞いて、必要な語彙・情報を調べる復習: CambridgeOne のオンラインワークブックおよび与えられた課題を行い、各ユニットの内容を確認する。セルフスタディ: イングリッシュラウンジのセミナー、会話練習、英語の書籍、DVD視聴や図書館のアカデミックコモンズの書籍や英語のDVD視聴等を行うことを推奨します。イングリッシュラウンジのセミナーは活動報告書を提出すると成績に組み入れられます。Teamsに登録してください。Team Code: zaaqshd Use the resources of the English Lounge (seminars, foreign-student conversation partners, English DVDs) and Library Academic Commons (English DVDs) to practice listening/speaking skills. Consult with English Lounge teachers for additional advice on classwork and English study.

留意点・予備知識／Point to keep in mind, back ground	Attendance, active participation, and self-study outside classroom are very important for language learning. Therefore, keep the following in mind: 1. Students are expected to attend every class. Students must attend 2/3 of all classes in order to pass. 2. Students should not be late to class. 3. Self-study time outside of class is expected to be twice the time spend in the classroom: 180 minutes of self-study for 90 minutes of class. Study systematically. 授業に出席して積極的に活動すること、そして、授業以外でも自主的に学習することは、言語学習にとってとても大切なことです。したがって、以下のことを守りましょう。 1. 全ての授業に出席しましょう。全体の授業回数の3分の2以上出席しなければ、成績が「不可」となります。 2. 遅刻をしないようにしましょう。 3. 授業時間以外での自主学習時間は、授業を1（90分）とすると2（180分）とされています。計画的に学習しましょう。 4. It is mandatory and will count for 20% of your grade for this class. 4. Come to the English Lounge to attend seminars, conversation circles, and many more.(Team Code: zaaqshd) *I have worked for a multinational company where English was a common language at work.
