To develop the ability to explain the pathogenesis of neurological diseases at the molecular and genetic level.
授業の概要
/Summary of the class
In this lecture, students will learn how to analyze the pathogenesis of cranial nerve diseases at the cellular, molecular, and genetic levels, as well as gain knowledge of the major molecular pathological mechanisms (neuronal cell death, inclusion body formation and degradation mechanisms, cell migration, and cell proliferation). In addition, the role of glial cells in the establishment of cranial nerve diseases and lesion repair will be introduced.

Part 24-25: Pathobiochemistry of tauopathies
Part 26-27: Pathobiochemistry of synucleinopathy
Part 28: Pathobiochemistry of TDP-43 proteinopathy
Part 29-30: Efforts toward the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases
Examination by oral examination
成績評価方法及び採点基準
/A scholastic evaluation method and marking standard
Evaluation will be based on questions and answers in class (60 points) and an oral examination (40 points).
