授業としての具体的到達目標 ／Concrete arrival target as the class	Understand how to prepare cerebral nervous system specimens for neuropathological studies. Acquire the basic techniques and observation methods necessary for the preparation of cerebral nervous system specimens.
授業の概要 ／Summary of the class	Hands-on training in fixation, preparation of specimens, and observation of tissues of the cranial nervous system necessary for neuropathological studies.
授業の内容予定 ／Contents plan of the class	The following programs are available for this course. Part 1: Tissue Fixation Methods Infiltration fixation with formalin, transcardiac reflux fixation (experimental animals) Part 2-7: Section preparation methods Paraffin sections Vibratome section Frozen section Part 8-12: Histochemistry Hematoxylin and eosin staining myelin stain Part 13-18: Immunohistochemistry Immunostaining with paraffin sections Immunostaining using vibratome sections (floating method) Double fluorescent immunostaining Part 19-24: Preparation of specimens for transmission electron microscopy Part 25-30: Immunoelectron microscopy (pre-embedding method)
成績評価方法及び採点基準 ／A scholastic evaluation method and marking standard	The examination will consist of a specimen preparation technique (50%) and an oral examination (50%).
