授業としての具体的到達目標 ／Concrete arrival target as the class	〇地域づくりとは何か、その背景や経過について理解します。 〇地域づくりを進める仕組み、技法について理解します。 〇それぞれの地域課題を解決するための地域づくりのあり方を考える力を養います。 This course will deal with "community development". (1) Students will understand what community development is and its background. (2) Students will understand mechanisms and techniques for community development. (3) Students will develop their ability to think how to solve each community issues.
授業の概要 ／Summary of the class	現在、「新しい公共」という名の下、行政でも住民だけでもない、住民、行政、企業等が互いに協働で地域をより良くしていく「地域づくり」に大きな期待が寄せられています。この地域づくりについて、基礎的な知識を学習し、事例を通じ地域事情に応じた地域づくりのあり方を考えます。 A close partnership and collaboration among residents, local governments, companies, etc. is attracting attention in community development. They work together in order to design sustainable communities. We will learn basic ideas of community development and consider possible ways of developing communities by looking at some case studies.

They are subject to change. 10/1 第１回：地域づくりとは何か　What is community development? 10/8 第２回：地域づくりが求められる背景と経過　Background to community development 10/22 第３回：住民主体の地域づくりを進める仕組み　Mechanisms for community development 10/29 第４回：地域づくりワークショップの技法　Workshop technique for community development 11/5 第５回：地域づくり事例の検討１ 身近な環境整備　Case study 1: improvement of community's living environment 11/12 第６回：地域づくり事例の検討２ 安全・安心な地域　Case study 2: safety and security of a community 11/19 第７回：地域づくり事例の検討３ 過疎地の生活利便性の確保　Case study 3: community development in an underpopulated area 11/26 第８回:最終回：地域づくりに関する総合討論　General discussion about community development ※状況により授業や課題の提出などにおいて、TeamsやFormsを利用する場合があります。 Teams and Forms may be used in class.
成績評価方法及び採点基準 ／A scholastic evaluation method and marking standard	毎回の授業に向け提出してもらうミニレポートを５０％、期末に提出してもらう最終レポートを５０％の比率で評価します。地域づくりに関する理解度、地域づくりに対する意見、これらの説明表現を評価します。 Reports submitted before each lecture (50%) and final report (50%). The evaluation will assess your understanding of community development, your opinions on community development and your ability to express these opinions.
予習及び復習等の内容 ／Contents such as preparations for lessons and the review	予習と復習とを合わせて30時間必要です。 事前に学部の地域計画学で学んだことを復習しておいてください。 授業に際しては、予習として、授業内容に関係するミニレポートを作成します。 授業後に、自分が作成したミニレポートで欠けていた部分に関して振り返ってください。 すべての授業終了後に最終レポートを作成します。 A total of 30 hours of preparation and review is required. Please review what you learned in your undergraduate regional planning course beforehand. As preparation, students will prepare a mini-report related to the class content. After class, reflect on what was missing from your mini-report. A final report will be prepared after all classes are completed.

参考文献 ／bibliography	石原・西村編「まちづくりを学ぶ 地域再生の見取り図」有斐閣(2010)など、必要に応じ講義の中で紹介します。 Will be introduced in the class.
留意点・予備知識 ／Point to keep in mind, back ground	農村地域において、地域づくりに関してどのような取り組みが行われているのか、日常生活を通じて関心を持って過ごして欲しいです。 Please spend your daily life interested in what kind of efforts are being made for community development in rural areas.
授業内容に関する質問・疑義等 ／Question, doubt about class contents	教員研究室は、農生棟317室 です。オフィスアワーは火曜日11:40～13:10 としています。これ以外の日時でも対応しますし、火曜に不在の場合もあります。 The FUJISAKI's laboratory is located in Room 317 of the Agriculture and Life Science Building. Office hours are Tuesdays from 11:40 a.m. to 1:10 p.m. Other dates and times are available upon request.

授業形態・授業方法 ／Class form, class method	ゼミナール形式で行います。各回の授業内容について、受講者がミニレポートを作成してきます。このミニレポートに関する受講者の説明に対し、教員が補足説明を加えていきます。 メディア授業に移行した場合は，Teamsで実施します。 Classes are conducted in a seminar format. Students will prepare a mini-report on the content of each lesson and explain it in class. Supplementary explanations will be given by the professor.
