成績評価方法及び採点基準／A scholastic evaluation method and marking standard	1. Participation（Class activities）：30% 2. Examination/Presentation/Paper/Project：40% 3. Assignments/Self-study：30% 上記を合算して，最終的な成績評価を行います。
予習及び復習等の内容／Contents such as preparations for lessons and the review	Before Class: Familiarize yourself with the contents of the next class based on the schedule above. If there are any questions, please contact the instructor (Dr. Anderson). After Class: Complete all assigned tasks, including in the CambridgeOne digital workbook to reinforce the unit lessons. Please also check TEAMS prior to each class. If pre-recorded lectures are posted please watch and follow instructions for next class. For group-work, please arrange time with your team to discuss presentations before the due date. More information will be provided in-class. Self-study: Use the resources of the English Lounge (seminars, foreign-student conversation partners, English DVDs) and Library Academic Commons (English DVDs) to practice listening/speaking skills. Consult with English Lounge teachers for additional advice on classwork and English study.

留意点・予備知識／Point to keep in mind, back ground	Attendance, active participation, and self-study outside classroom are very important for language learning. Therefore, keep the following in mind: 1. Students are expected to attend every class. Students must attend 2/3 of all classes in order to pass. 2. Students should not be late to class. 3. Self-study time outside of class is expected to be twice the time spend in the classroom: 180 minutes of self-study for 90 minutes of class. Study systematically.
