授業としての具体的到達目標／Concrete arrival target as the class	1. To consider the local society and culture in relation to human life activities and understand their mechanisms 2. In an increasingly internationalized world, to learn about the environment surrounding foreigners living in Japan and the difficulties they encounter in daily life, and to think about how to support them using "easy Japanese" 3. To learn about the diversity of foreigners living in Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture, in particular, and to propose a direction for internationalization unique to Hirosaki City while exploring with other students ways to contribute to the promotion of multicultural coexistence in Hirosaki City.
授業の概要／Summary of the class	This class will consist of the following ① to ③. ① Learn about the current situation and issues facing foreigners living in Japan. ② Learn about the history, overview, purpose, usage and examples of "Easy Japanese" that can support the lives of foreigners living in Japan. ③ Together with international students, propose support methods using "Easy Japanese" for foreigners living in the area centered around Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture. These will be carried out as project work.
授業の内容予定／Contents plan of the class	Week 1 Orientation, Self-introduction Week 2 Foreigners living in Japan Week 3 How foreigners learn Japanese Week 4,5 learn "easy Japanese" Week 6~8 Project Work I: <What kind of difficulties do foreigners living in Japan face?> Creating a "trouble map" Week9~14 Project Work II: Proposing ways to solve everyday problems using "easy Japanese"(①Discussion and group division： Deciding on a problem-solving theme using "easy Japanese".②Consider specific methods (guidebooks, apps, websites, road signs, warning notices, instructions, etc.) and make a plan for on-site investigation if necessary.③Research and Work.④Preparation for the final presentation.) Week 15 Final Presantation
成績評価方法及び採点基準／A scholastic evaluation method and marking standard	Class participation attitude: 10%, self- and peer-evaluation of group work: 20%, deliverables: 30%, final report: 40%
予習及び復習等の内容／Contents such as preparations for lessons and the review	Instructions will be given during class.

When you join in this cours, please be active to show your concerning about "living problem in Japan as a foreigner". We pick up the troubles or inconvinience things that you encountered in Japan life, work with Japanese students to solve those problems by using "やさしい（かんたんな）日本語". This class target is from N4~. If you have ever had trouble with difficult Japanese signs around town, in shops, or at city hall, join this class and find a solution.
