授業としての具体的到達目標 ／Concrete arrival target as the class	①Deepen student's understanding about the Japanese culture, history, and traditional culture, etc. especially which left in Aomori-ken Tsugaru area. ②By studying the history and culture of the region, students can objectively see the characteristics of your own culture compared to the culture of other countries. ③By working with classmates who have different cultures, you can acquire the ability of cross-cultural communication to understand the other person regardless of country, language, and culture, and become aware of social problems around you, and will be able to propose solutions with flexible ideas.
授業の概要 ／Summary of the class	This class will be structured as follows: 1) Research and presentation (group work) on the traditional culture of the Tsugaru region of Aomori Prefecture, 2) Special lecture: History and culture of the Tsugaru region, life stories of Kokeshi craftsmen, 3) Experiential learning (Workshops 1) Kogin embroidery, 2) Neputa painting art, 3) Kokeshi painting (bus tour to Kuroishi Kokeshi Museum), 4) Creation of a promotional video for Tsugaru culture. The above activities will be carried out in group work by a mixed group of international students and Japanese students.
授業の内容予定 ／Contents plan of the class	Contents of this class: 1. Group presentation to prepare to research of regional traditional culture as a group mixed by international students and Japanese students for 4~5 themes(About the features of Aomori , Tsugaru cultures, Neputa-festival, Kokeshi doll, Koginzashi embroidery, The connection of the culture and the society). 2.The special lecture from the professor major in Tsugaru historical culture. 3.Lectures and workshops by guest professional craftmen (Theme:Koginzashi embroidery, Kokeshi doll, Neputa picture, or other 4. Field tour to the Kokeshi museum in Kuroishi city by bus. 5. Making PR multilingual video(choose the theme, research and discussion, planning of video creation, video shooting, editing, presentation preparation) as a final task. 6. Final presentation of your PR Video in multilingual. ※The first class is for orientation and peer-introduction activity(Bring your PC). ※We will arrange the date of those lectures, workshops, and field trip(2 times on Saturday or Sunday in November or December). ※From week11 to week14 we have no class, but creating video by groupwork.
成績評価方法及び採点基準 ／A scholastic evaluation method and marking standard	Class participation attitude10％、Activities in group work (self and peer evaluation)40％、Contents of the created video and presentation and the Final Report 50％

留意点・予備知識 ／Point to keep in mind, back ground	*This class is an "international co-education" class that both international students and Japanese students learn together. *The language used is basically Japanese, but English translations or easy Japanese will be provided(desirely more than N3, but N4 level students can participate). *The final PR video must be created in multiple languages. *Neputa-art workshop and visiting Kokeshi-museum in Kuroishi-city will be held on Saturday or Sunday. Make time in your schedule and take this class. *The videos produced may be used for university and local promotional activities.
