授業としての具体的到達目標 /Concrete arrival target as the class |
Understand the usefulness of ecosystems designed and created by researchers to actively promote interactions among multiple organisms. (DP1) Acquire fundamental knowledge for constructing ecosystems designed by researchers to actively promote interactions among multiple organisms. (DP1) |
授業の概要 /Summary of the class |
In ecosystems composed of multiple organisms, the balance of interspecies interactions is crucial. However, in many ecosystems, the delicate equilibrium is maintained by the interplay of multiple factors, making quantitative analysis challenging. In recent years, the usefulness of engineering microbial consortia—microbial ecosystems designed and constructed by researchers to actively promote interactions among multiple species—has been demonstrated. This lecture will cover the fundamental knowledge necessary to understand the concept and composition of such systems. |
