授業の概要 ／Summary of the class	This course aims to enable students to deepen their understanding of the historical background of art forms from the Tsugaru region and the narratives they embody. They are introduced to Jomon and Ainu art forms, Tsugaru-nuri (Tsugaru lacquerware), Aizome and Koginzashi (indigo-dyeing and Kogin embroidery) and Neputa-e (paintings produced for Neputa festival floats) as well as artists from the Tsugaru region and their representative works. 津軽地方の様々なアートの歴史的背景と込められたナラティブについて理解を深めます。縄文のアート、アイヌのアート、津軽塗、藍染め、こぎん刺し、ねぷた絵に加え津軽地方のアーティストと代表作について学びます。

Review: they will be required to reflect on the content of classes in order to complete their written work. 予習:授業に備えて資料を読みます。復習:コースの内容を振り返りながらレポートを書きます。

授業形態・授業方法 ／Class form, class method	This course will be taught in Japanese and English. Japanese students and international students are expected to use both languages to the best of their ability to communicate with each other during class discussions. Students will be required to pay for the materials used to make their own craftwork. 指導は日本語と英語で行われます。日本人学生と留学生がディスカッションを行う際は二つの言語を用いながらコミュニケーションをはかります。体験する工芸制作の材料費は自己負担してもらいます。 メディア授業に移行した場合はTeams で行います。
