授業としての具体的到達目標 ／Concrete arrival target as the class	To examine regional society and culture in relation to human ways of living, and to understand the structures that shape them.
授業の概要 ／Summary of the class	• Focusing on Aomori Prefecture, this course explores various aspects of Aomori’s culture, history, and contemporary society through the lens of folk performing arts and festivals—forms of intangible cultural heritage. • Students will engage in dialogue with individuals who are directly involved in local folk performing arts and festivals, deepening their understanding by encountering their knowledge, skills, perspectives, and social positions. • By interacting with the people who sustain regional culture and by observing their practices, students aim to develop perspectives that stand close to those of the practitioners themselves, thereby enriching their understanding of local communities. • Through experiential learning, students will engage in “embodied learning,” cultivating viewpoints that allow them to step beyond their own assumptions and connect with the lived practices of regional cultural traditions. International students are welcome to participate.
