授業としての具体的到達目標 ／Concrete arrival target as the class	〇 English Communication A/CやEnglish Communication Bで学んだ語彙や文法・表現、パラグラフ・リーディングの知識をライティングに応用し、書き言葉の形式で英語を使ってコミュニケーションをとることができる能力を身につけること。 〇 アカデミック・ライティングの基礎として重要である、パラグラフ・ライティングの基礎を身につけること。 〇 メールの書き方や日誌の付け方など、日常的な英文の書き方を身につけること。
授業の概要 ／Summary of the class	〇 リーディング・ライティングを中心に、「English Communication A・B」「English Communication C」の学習内容と関連づけながら、総合的な英語力の基礎を身につける。 〇 様々な文化的背景を持つ人々とコミュニケーションをとるために、国際共通語としての英語を意識して使えるようになる。 〇 授業で学習したことを踏まえ、生涯にわたって主体的に学習し続ける習慣を身につける。

予習及び復習等の内容 ／Contents such as preparations for lessons and the review	【予習】 毎回の講義中と講義後に、講義内容をMoodleにあるPDFで確認すること。 【復習】 毎回、講義内容をPDFでMoodle掲示をするので、授業ノートと一緒に復習すること。Quizを振り返り、間違った問題の正解を確認すること。またiQ Onlineをユニット毎に完成すること。 【Self-study】 自分に合った勉強方法を使って日常的に英語に触れる習慣を身に着けること。多読、英語の記事読解、日誌書き、試験対策の勉強、英語の動画の視聴、英会話の練習など、組み合わせ自由。

参考文献 ／bibliography	適宜、講義内に説明する。
留意点・予備知識 ／Point to keep in mind, back ground	言語学習において肝要なことは、授業出席と、家で自主的に学習することである。よって、以下のことを念頭に講義に参加すること。 1. 全ての講義に出席する。 　 全体の授業回数の3分の2以上の出席が求められる。 2. 遅刻をしないようにする。 3. 授業時間以外での自主学習時間は、毎週２時間必要である。その割合は、授業：自主学習＝１：２であるので、講義90分の場合、自主学習は180分となる。よって計画的に学習する。
