授業としての具体的到達目標 ／Concrete arrival target as the class	〇山地の流域環境の保全と砂防について理解し、それらの基礎的調査ができるようになる。 〇山地流域環境、流域水・土砂災害、流域保全についての実践的調査手法。 This course aimes to provide studnents with a basic and practical knowledge of the topics, including mountain watershed environment, sediment disaster, and watershed conservation.
授業の概要 ／Summary of the class	山地の流域環境の保全と砂防について、近年の研究事例と文献資料を用いて講述する。 The majority of the topics as mentioned below will be covered by lectures on the important concepts of each topic, and presentation of related papers.

The schedule will be determined in consultation with the enrolled students.
成績評価方法及び採点基準 ／A scholastic evaluation method and marking standard	地形分類に対する取組（50％）、最終レポート（50％）で評価する ＊生成AIの利用は、情報収集、要点整理、文章表現の推敲などの補助的利用に限り可とする。課題・レポートの内容作成や考察の代行は不可とし、最終的な判断と表現は受講者自身が行うこと。 Assessment will be based on engagement in geomorphological classification (50%) and final report (50%). ＊Use of generative AI is permitted only as a supplementary tool for tasks such as information gathering, organizing key points, and refining written expression. The use of generative AI to create the content of assignments or reports, or to perform analytical thinking on behalf of the student, is not permitted. The final judgment and expression must be made by the student themselves.
予習及び復習等の内容 ／Contents such as preparations for lessons and the review	予習： 次回の授業内容に関する山地流域保全学分野の内容 復習： 本時の授業内容 予習と復習とを合わせて30時間必要です。 Preparation: Review relevant topics in the field of mountain watershed conservation related to the next class. Review: Review the content covered in the current class. A total of 30 hours is required for preparation and review combined.

留意点・予備知識 ／Point to keep in mind, back ground	授業で読む論文を事前に読んでおき、授業で質問や討論できるように準備すること The course will require reading, especially of research literature, in-class participation and discussions. One student will be responsible for presenting two papers. In addition, all students are required to read the paper(s) the present very carefully before the class. Several additional papers will be recommended for reading.
