授業としての具体的到達目標 ／Concrete arrival target as the class	○調査研究のためには正しい種の同定が必要であることを認識すること。 ○生物学研究における標本の役割を理解し、その作成と管理の手法を身につけること。 Students will recognize the needs of proper identification of species for scientific studies Students will understand how to identify specimens Students will understand the roles of specimens in Taxonomy, and to practice the way how to make and maintenance specimens
授業の概要 ／Summary of the class	種の同定と標本資料の役割について学んだ後、実際に野外で動物の採集を行う。採集された動物を材料として、文献や過去に収集された標本との比較を通した同定、標本の作製、古い標本の維持・管理方法を学ぶ。 After short lectures on taxonomy, identification and specimens, you acturally collect marine animals along the sea coast in front of the Marine Experiment Station, and learn the way to identify species, how to make specimens and how to maintain old specimens.

成績評価方法及び採点基準 ／A scholastic evaluation method and marking standard	授業の中で行う小テスト（40%）、期末レポート（60％）の合算によって評価する。 小テスト、レポートでの生成AIの利用不可。 tests (40%), report (60%)
予習及び復習等の内容 ／Contents such as preparations for lessons and the review	事前に配布する資料をもとに、標本の役割と管理方法について十分に予習をしておくこと。 You are expected to prepare for the class

留意点・予備知識 ／Point to keep in mind, back ground	野外での実習を伴いますので、受講希望者は事前に担当教員（中村）まで連絡をすること。汚れてもよい服装、または前掛けか白衣の着用が望ましい。 Make contact with Nakamura and ask for guidance beforehand.
