授業としての具体的到達目標／Concrete arrival target as the class	〇デジタル画像データ（静止画・動画）の種類や特性（長所や短所）を理解し、生命科学分野の研究や発表（プレゼンテーション）に応用できるように基礎から実用的な内容を身につける。〇A purpose of this lecture is to understand formats and related technology of the digital image data (still image and video). 〇It is an aim that allows you to apply image and video analysis for a bioscientific study.
授業の概要／Summary of the class	授業は毎回、講義とそれに関連した実習（実技）を行う。実際に細胞や組織を撮影した顕微鏡写真や動画などを使って、ファイル形式の変換や画像解析を行う。 In this class, students will learn how to convert file formats and image analysis using micrographs of cells and pathological tissues.
授業の内容予定／Contents plan of the class	第１回：ガイダンス（授業の目的と予定、実習室のシステムおよびソフトウェアの説明）第２回：画像処理１（画像ファイル形式の種類と特徴）第３回：画像処理２（画像変換）第４回：画像解析（面積や数の計測・画像の目的部分の抽出方法など）第５回：動画変換１（ハードウェアとソフトウェア、ファイル形式、データ圧縮の原理）第６回：動画変換２（動画変換のパラメーター、動画から静止画、静止画から動画への変換方法、など）第７回：動画変換３（変換後の映像比較、動画を含むプレゼンテーションの留意点、など）第８回：（最終回・45分授業＊）授業のまとめとレポート作成　　　　＊大学院の単位認定基準により７．５回の授業となるため。 #1 Introduction #2 Image processing (1):Image file formats #3 Image processing (2):Image data conversion #4 Image processing (3):Image analysis #5 Video conversion (1):Hardware and software #6 Video conversion (2):data format and codec #7 Video conversion (3):encording and transcording #8 Review (Submission of the report)
成績評価方法及び採点基準／A scholastic evaluation method and marking standard	２つの課題レポートの内容による評価１画像解析関係（50%) ２動画変換関係(50%) Your overall grade in the class will be decided based on the following: - Reports about Image data: 50% - Reports about Movie data: 50% 授業の課題レポートを作成する場合、生成系AIツールが生成した文章や画像を変更や修正なしに用いることは認められません。 When creating your class assignment report, it is not permitted to use text or images generated by a generative AI tool without any changes or modifications.
予習及び復習等の内容／Contents such as preparations for lessons and the review	（予習）必要に応じて授業毎に指示します。（復習）アプリケーションの操作方法（設定や入力方法）など、授業内容について理解が不十分だった場合は次回までに確認すること。 I will order it in a lecture about preparations for lessons.
