授業としての具体的到達目標 ／Concrete arrival target as the class	宿主植物とウイロイドの間に存在する様々な相互作用のうち、特に植物のウイロイドに対する防御応答とウイロイドの病徴発現に関連する知見を深める。 To deepen understanding of the various interactions between host plants and viroids, with a particular focus on plant defense responses against viroids and the mechanisms of viroid pathogenesis.
授業の概要 ／Summary of the class	ウイロイドに対する植物の防御応答とウイロイドの病徴発現機構に関する英語の総説・資料を事前に読んできてもらい、その内容に関する討論・解説を行う。 Students are expected to read English review articles and materials regarding plant defense responses to viroids and the mechanisms of viroid pathogenesis in advance, followed by in-class discussions and detailed explanations.

成績評価方法及び採点基準 ／A scholastic evaluation method and marking standard	授業での応答や討論への参加の程度 (60%) 及び レポート (40%) で評価する。 AIはテーマに関する初期的な情報収集や概要の把握のためにのみ利用してよい。ただし、AIが提示した情報をそのまま使用してはならず、必ず査読付き論文、教科書、公的機関が公開している情報などの信頼できる資料を自分で確認すること。確認が取れた内容については、参照した文献を適切に引用すること。 Grading is based on the level of participation in Q&A and class discussions (60%) and a final report (40%). AI tools may only be used for initial information gathering or obtaining a general overview of a topic. However, AI-generated information must not be used as-is; students must personally verify facts using reliable sources such as peer-reviewed journals, textbooks, or official institutional data. Verified information must be properly cited.
予習及び復習等の内容 ／Contents such as preparations for lessons and the review	配布する英語の文献を事前に読み、授業での討論に参加できるように準備する必要がある。 Students must read the distributed English literature in advance to prepare for active participation in class discussions.
教材・教科書 ／The teaching materials, textbook	適宜資料を配布する。 Students must have already completed "Viroid Biology I."
