授業としての具体的到達目標 ／Concrete arrival target as the class	〇生物学コースで学ぶ知識や技術を、実社会においてどのように役立てることができるかについて考える。 〇社会が科学技術に何を求めているのかを知り、ニーズに応じて、科学的に正確な知識を分かりやすくフィードバックすることの重要性を理解する。 · Students figure out the social requirements of "biologically-correct" knowledge and practical skills obtained from the study in the graduate school. · Students consider how to utilize such knowledge and skills for the quality of life of themselves and of people around them. They also discuss how to apply biological researches to respond to social requirements.
授業の概要 ／Summary of the class	〇行政・研究機関からの講師や専門性を生かして働く卒業生などから話を聞き、広く研究や実社会における課題設定の方法や、課題解決のためのアプローチの実際を学ぶ。 〇その内容をもとに、大学の研究で得られた科学的知見を社会に還元するための考え方や方法を学ぶ。 〇自身の修士研究の内容をまとめ、口頭発表し、参加者全員（指導教員、受講学生）で議論することにより、研究の経過や成果を科学的に説明する力を身につけると同時に、研究の進行状況や学術的、社会的位置づけを客観的に理解する力を身につける。 〇自らが身につける生物学の専門知識と研究力が、どのように社会に貢献できるかを学ぶ。 · Students attend lectures provided by speakers who visit the graduate school from other research organizations, and learn how to make research plans and how to solve problems practically. · Each student makes a presentation and explains her/his own research project to other students and the supervisors. · Students try to acquire the ability to scientifically explain the progress in each one's research and to objectively understand its significance in the society.
授業の内容予定 ／Contents plan of the class	第１回～第８回 ・2コマづつ4回の集中講義で実施(1/12、1/18、1/25、2/1を予定)。ただし、履修者の人数、教員の都合等に応じて日程の増減やスライドが見込まれますのでご注意ください。 ・1年次に行った修士研究の内容をまとめ、口頭発表を行う。質疑応答を含めて30分以内となるように資料を作成すること。なお、発表者は研究内容の概要（Ａ４用紙1枚程度）を予め作成し、発表前に参加者に配布すること。 ・学科で招聘した講師のセミナーに1つ以上参加し、レポートを提出する。 ・修士論文発表会に出席し、自らの研究の状況や位置づけを客観的に把握する。 1st to 8th sessions · Students will take turns to give presentations in two consecutive classes over four weeks. · Students summarize their own research conducted in the first year and give an oral presentation. The presentation should be no longer than 30 minutes, including the question-and-answer session. Speakers prepare an abstract of their research (approximately one A4 sheet) in advance and distribute it to participants before the start of the presentation. · Students attend at least one seminar irregularly given in the department by an invited speaker. Students write and submit a report related to the seminar.
成績評価方法及び採点基準 ／A scholastic evaluation method and marking standard	受講態度、文献調査・プレゼンテーション資料などへの取り組み姿勢と口頭発表・質疑応答、外部講師による講義のレポートにより評価する。（100％） プレゼンテーションについて、生成AIの作成したスライドでそのまま発表することを禁止します。 疑義が生じた場合、内容について対面での確認を行い、成績評価に反映する場合があります。 Students will be evaluated based on their attitude in class, their attitude in preparing presentation materials, performance in their oral presentation and question-and-answer sessions, and the seminar report (100%). The direct copying of slides generated by AI is prohibited in presentations. If any concerns arise, the content may be reviewed in person, and the outcome of this review may be reflected in the final grade.
予習及び復習等の内容 ／Contents such as preparations for lessons and the review	自身の修士研究テーマについて熟考し、進捗状況を報告する資料を作成する。発表者は研究内容の概要（Ａ４用紙1枚程度）を作成し、発表時に配布できるように準備しておく。 予習・復習 30時間 · Students will think carefully about his/her master's research topic and prepare an abstract on an A4 sheet, and distribute it to participants before the start of the presentation. · Preparation and review 30 hours.
